The business works with a select number of architects involved in new build projects, development and re-development work and private renovations. Contracted work is carried out for a number of schools in the area plus the business completes projects on behalf of insurance companies requiring repair and maintenance work. In addition it has secured two main contracts with the local council, the first being a vacant property contract involving refurbishing empty properties prior to them bing re-let. This agreement is in place until 2013 and generates circa £500,000 of work per annum. The second contract appertains to disabled and grant work, which also runs until 2013 and involves the refit of kitchens and bathrooms for disabled people plus general grant work where roofing, soffits, fascias and windows require replacement. Further work under the “Envelope” scheme is undertaken in areas where a regeneration programme is being funded by the Welsh Assembly.
