The Caravan Park
The park was originally developed and operated as a Certificated Location site since 1989 and since 2005 has been operated to accommodate 23 touring caravan pitches. The development is to a good standard being reflected by the 4 Star Tourist Board Grading. Access into the park is via a separate gated entranceway which leads into the park and provides access to the various areas.
The park is divided into several enclosures which adds to the overall ambiance and much is made of the landscaping, natural hedgerows and mature planting.
At the time of our inspection the touring park was laid out to accommodate up to 23 touring caravans, there being 19 hard-standing bases and 4 grass pitches. All pitches have electrical hook-up points (2 No 10 Amps and 21 No 16 Amps).
Service Building – This building is of concrete block with corrugated roof over and is used for storage, refuse collection and a service point for chemical toilet disposal.
The Park is located on the edge of Belper overlooking the National Heritage Corridor of the Derwent Valley and enjoys beautiful views of the Derbyshire countryside and Derwent Valley.
Access to the property from Belper is via the main A6 and, with the property being within easy reach of the M1, the park is well located for the many tourist attractions and populated conurbations of the surrounding areas. Belper is located some 10 miles to the north of Derby and 19 miles to the north-east of Nottingham.
