Founded by the vendor over 6 years ago, the business is only now being offered for sale as he and his family are planning to move from the area.
The business offers a one stop shop for the essential images and floor plans needed to market any residential or commercial property. The business has four possible income streams from each property:
1. Elevated photography – using a camera mounted on an extendable pole, the equipment is fully portable and easy to set up, even in the most awkward of spaces. This can completely change the outlook of a property
2. Floor plans – accurate plans produced in just one visit. All plans are drawn up under RICS guidelines
3. Marketing photography – they produce creative internal and external photographs which can be digitally enhanced and optimised to give the best results
4. Energy performance certificates – a legal requirement which stipulates that you must have a certificate within 28 days of putting a property on the market
The vendor works with around 15 estate agents on a very regular basis as well as many others occasionally. No work is undertaken for private individuals and all work is within an approximate 60 mile radius of his home in Berkshire.
The vendor works full time in the business with the assistance of a part time co-ordinator who works approximately 20 hours per week and a part time self employed photographer, who works 2 days a week. Two other self employed photographers can be called upon on an as-and-when required basis.
In the year to September 2009, they achieved annual sales of circa £107,863, overheads are minimal, resulting in excellent net profits.
The vendor is prepared to work with a new owner to ensure a smooth hand over and to give the necessary introductions to both staff and customers

Our client clearly already operates a very successful business, it does however, still offer excellent scope to increase both sales and profits in the future by:
1. Increasing the working area beyond the current 60 mile radius of his home
2. Open branch offices on the perimeter of his current working area
3. Approach more estate agents to ensure they are aware of his services
