Nearby attractions include the South Downs National Park, Goodwood Race Course and Goodwood Motor Circuit, Arundel Castle and popular beaches at Worthing and Littlehampton. The towns larger employers include Glaxo Smithkline, Rainer & Keeler, The Environment Agency and Southern Water. The local bus routes pass along the road outside.
