No Letting Go first Property Inventory Company to Join the Property Redress Scheme
No Letting Go, providers of inventory management services throughout the UK is the first inventory company to join the Property Redress Scheme, a consumer redress scheme which became mandatory for Lettings Agents and Property Managers at the beginning of October
There are three government authorised schemes run by the Property Redress Scheme, The Property Ombudsman, and Ombudsman Services: Property, allowing tenants and landlords to hold Agents to account and make requests for compensation.
The Property Redress Scheme complaints process is designed to assist the Member in that the Member is given 10 working days to resolve the complaint directly in the first instance. After that a trained mediator will try to assist the parties come to a resolution. Only if that is unsuccessful will a Property Redress Scheme Ombudsman be required to make a binding decision on the complaint.
