Customer Base
The Boycott Arms attracts a customer base made up of local residents, tourists, holidaymakers and travelling business people. The pub needs to attract more dining customers from Bridgnorth and the surrounding villages. There is also scope to attract more customers to the pub for
The business potential is huge but new owners would need to change local opinion due to a period of closure after a previous business failure. Currently trading at £3k per week there is scope to double this once the pub becomes established. Weekend trade alone could account for up to £4k net sales with summer months exceeding this. The current food offer is very traditional & features many of the usual pub favourites. There is scope to develop this with seasonal specials using local fresh produce.

Successful Candidate
The successful applicants will probably be a couple with a background in the hospitality industry with a passion for food and a keen eye for attention to detail. Previous experience in the business would be an advantage but not essential along with a total dedication to customer needs & entrepreneurial flair to attract customers from further afield. Being able to plan effectively for every key trading opportunity is a must & able to communicate via the press & web in an effective.either leisurely lunches or for business people to meet clients.
