The town of Aldridge is located between Walsall and Brownhills on the north eastern fringes of the West Midlands conurbation. The Struggling Monkey has frontage to Northgate, part of the B4152 connecting Aldridge and Brownhills, and is positioned about 1 mile north of the town centre.

The pub is available on Pathway Tenancy agreement.

The Struggling Monkey comprises of a modern lounge with traditional bar area. The bare area and pool table can accommodate around 30 people and the lounge around 40, plus a dance floor. Outside there is a smoking area with limited seating.

The Struggling Monkey attracts a customer base made up of local residents and the two pool teams but this could be extended by promoting more team events and functions.

The pub has the potential to be a hive of activity for community events and functions and should be trading around £3,500 net per week. At present the food offer is limited to sandwiches and function food, but with a consistent food menu this side of the business would improve.

We are looking for a dynamic community conscious operator that will be able to drive teams and activities.
