The pub has two distinct trading areas. The lounge is on the left and is suitable for dining. Ruabon is a village and community in the borough of Wrexham, Wales. Ruabon is connected to the national railway network and has links to Cardiff, Birmingham, Chester, Manchester and Holyhead. The village is home to pubs, a bank and a post office on the high street.
The Duke of Wellington is widely used by the local community due to its village location. There are pub teams and the pub has a strong sports following. The home cooked food and regular quizzes and events are all popular.
The current wet sales are in excess of £3,600 per week. The pub currently trades well and has enjoyed strong growth year on year due to the current retailers' determination and popular home cooked food offer. There is a very strong Welsh community local feel to this pub and it's important that this is maintained by the new retailer.
