The pub is located in a small shopping precinct with a convenience store, hairdressers and a fast food outlet nearby. There is also a primary school next to the pub and a secondary school one mile away.

The customer base is made up of locals, dominoes and football teams. The entertainment also entices customers and sports fans also visit because the pub offers BT Sport.
