This Red Lion is a two room operation with a pool table in the bar and a lounge which is split into three zones. There is also a well-equipped catering kitchen. Outside there is a large patio and garden area suitable for the summer months, and additionally there is an unused bowling green that the new retailer could make great use of.

LOCAL AREA AND CUSTOMER BASE
The local area is residential, but the pub benefits from being on the main road between Lichfield and Rugeley. Cannock Chase is local and attracts passing trade. There are primary and secondary schools in close proximity, and the town centre provides all the desired shopping facilities including a large supermarket.
The pub attracts destination diners, bar regulars and teams. The new operator could do more to attract families in future and bring additional teams on board, and using the bowling green would create a new reason to visit.
The Red Lion is currently trading at £7,500 per week with 31% of sales being food. The business has seen year on year growth but has the potential to achieve sales of £10,000 per week by engaging further with families and local pub teams.
We are looking for a new retailer who can identify and listen to all customer profiles. They will need to have good organisation skills, food experience and be happy to get involved with both the kitchen operation and wet trade.
