The food offered is excellent, mainly British in outlook and includes over and above the usual, pheasant, duck and venison.
There is a conservatory a the rear of the restaurant, opening up on to a terraced ‘garden’ area which has often been used as a party/wedding area with marquee at the top terraced or even a BBQ and is also ideal for a pre-meal drink.
We are advised that stock at cost is kept to an absolute minimum, most items are fresh.
The business is staffed by 1 full time chef, I part time sous chef, 1 part time pot washer, plus other part time staff as required, together with the husband and wife team as required.
