Business Description
Register your interest in one of our Retail Agreement sites.

Running your own business can be a daunting prospect but running your own business with the full help and support from a large established company sounds much more appealing.

At Marston’s we understand that there are many people out there who have the skills and ambition to run their own pub business but want the security of having an experienced guiding hand to help them make a success of what can be a challenging prospect.

Our Retail Agreement aims to do just that.

We are looking to recruit prospective retailers for our community pubs within a 20 mile radius of Worcester along the M5 corridor, which includes the areas of Worcester City, Malvern, Kidderminster and Stourbridge. We offer a wide range of opportunities, from wet only to more food-orientated pubs. Consequently, we are seeking both community operators and those with food experience.

About the area

The historical city of Worcester sits alongside the River Severn which is overlooked by the 12th century Worcester Cathedral. The city has a thriving university and is very popular with tourists. Close by, the spa town of Malvern is famous for the hills that dominate the area. It is a mecca for walkers and tourists and hosts the famous Three Counties Show held annually at its showground.

About 15 miles North of Worcester, Kidderminster is a large town within the Wyre Forest District of Worcestershire and is famous for being the centre of carpet manufacturing. It has a busy town centre with many shops and out of town shopping developments.

Finally, north of Kidderminster lies the large town of Stourbridge which is in the Metropolitan Borough of Dudley, although historically it was part of Worcestershire. Much of the town is suburban, interspersed by green belt land such as the Clent Hills and Kinver Edge, both of which are popular with walkers and tourists. The town has a great history of glassmaking and there are still a number of kilns and museums in the area.
