Spotlight on: NXT Generation

The Coronavirus Pandemic has created a lot of uncertainty for many businesses. The constant evolving situation has allowed little time to adapt to the changes. We speak to Johnathan Pach of NXT Generation to get an insight into how he started his company and what advice he would give businesses experiencing difficulties during this unusual time.

What is the pedigree and experience of yourself and NXT Generation?

As an individual, I am fortunate to have a wealth of experience within the marketing industry. I have worked within the industry for about 15 years and have been fortunate to associate myself with a wide variety of firms. I’ve sold a number of media and advertising packages for marketing agencies and have also directed a number of agencies (before founding NXT Generation).I set up NXT Generation just under three years ago with the aim of creating something innovative within the marketing and lead generation space. Since its formation, NXT Generation has sold exceptional media packages to each and every one of its clients, to allow them to achieve the best possible results. We have developed a portfolio of packages, including our lead generation services, email marketing services, and voice-qualified leads service (to name but a few). We are keen to work with clients from all over the globe – and have done so successfully in the past – so that, together, we can revolutionize the world of marketing!

What advice would you give to business owners in light of the current circumstances when it comes to marketing in this new normal?

First and foremost, I would urge business owners to prioritise education. It is really important to educate your audience about what you’re doing, how your good or service can help them, and how it’ll impact the world more generally, so that they can see just how incredible your business is! Not only will this help to grow your brand, but it could genuinely help to improve the community. The best way to educate your audience is through social media marketing. You ought to think of social media as the primary tool to accessing your audience, which means it is important to have a presence on every platform (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.). It is free to advertise on these platforms, so it is essential to put out as much educational content as possible. In my experience, video content has really helped me to expand my business, so I’d highly recommend this method to all business owners. It is important to post videos frequently (three times a day is a good amount), so that you can build trust with your customers and enable them to understand your mission. In short, social media marketing is the best way to market your products in this new normal, because it is cost effective and will allow you to interact with your audience.

Are there any quick wins you can recommend that won’t break the bank (considering cashflows are significantly challenged currently)?

Again, the best way to generate leads whilst ensuring that expenditure is low is through social media lead generation. This is a really important method, especially when cashflows are significantly challenged. The best way to generate high-quality leads through social media is through short, snappy, inspiring, and diverse video content. For the most part, a 15-20 second video will suffice, so long as it contains informative content and amazing text overlays. After all, everyone loves a good video (including testimonial videos)!

Before you spend any money on your social media campaigns, be confident that your social media accounts are fully optimised. If they’re not, you’ll be losing out on leads, so ensure that you’re gaining followers and producing amazing content before you begin a campaign. During the campaign, it is important to have tight landing pages, including all the relevant lead capture information and maybe even a free gift for potential clients (such as a free brochure). All of these steps will allow you to run your business during difficult times, so long as you’re willing to be resilient!

What support can you provide to business owners who are struggling currently?

As a starting point, one thing we can offer business owners is our advice. Having spent so much time within the industry, we’d hope that our advice will enable business owners to resolve any of their issues. In my eyes, before giving any advice, it is important to understand a business as a whole, so I’d conduct a short interview to allow me to fully grasp the aims and needs of a business.

Following on from the initial free advice, we’d be able to offer paid support in the form of website design, social media optimisation and management, video production, and much more. We’d also be able to support business owners by enhancing their email marketing strategies, voice-qualified lead procedures, and PPC lead generation. In other words, we’d be able to support business owners in lots of different ways, which’ll hopefully ensure that they succeed in the long-term!
