The business is that of a town centre bar/restaurant & bistro being run under the
direct supervision of the current owners.

The property was fully refurbished in 2012.

Liquid Lounge - The Liquid Lounge is used predominantly for day time trade. A competitively priced menu is used to attract lunchtime diners to the property. The Liquid Lounge is open 11am – 2.30 pm Tuesday – Saturday and 5 pm until 10 pm on a Wednesday night for a curry night. On a Friday & Saturday night, the Liquid Lounge can be opened as a cocktail bar with a 2 am licence, although this is not currently utilised. The Liquid Lounge is available for private functions on a Friday & Saturday night and there are usually two held per month.

Truffles Bistro - Truffles Bistro is open Thursday, Friday & Saturday evenings from 5.30pm until close, serving an appetising menu with Italian, French and Spanish options.

The menu is reasonably priced and offers a good range of choices, with a specials board and an early bird wine & dine option. Truffles has an excellent reputation and is currently rated number one restaurant in Dumfries on Trip Advisor.

The business generates a healthy turnover and profit margins. Net sales over the last few years have been in the region of £190,000 - £200,000.

Through choice, the business is currently operated on restricted hours. Trade levels could easily be increased simply by opening on a Sunday and Monday, and also by trading for the whole day without closing in the afternoons. The current owners believe that offering a Sunday carvery would also attract new trade.

Accounts will be provided to seriously interested parties following a formal viewing of the premises.
