Business Description
Business
Hilton Smythe welcomes to the market Jacqueline’s Tea Room a 1940’s themed tea room established by our clients in 2014.

Unfortunately, our client is now looking to sell due to ill health.

Jacqueline’s is more than just a tea room as whilst you sit and relax, look around, you’ll be reminded of an age gone by.

The menu is a varied selection which includes,

• Lunches
• Sweet/Savoury delights

They pride themselves in offering a wide range of homemade gluten free products including,

• Tartlets
• Sausage rolls
• Cakes
• Scones
• Also, if it takes your fancy, an indulgent Afternoon or High Tea

Jacqueline’s holds a full alcohol licence enabling clients to add some sparkle to their Afternoon Tea with Prosecco or a glass of wine, or maybe try an alcoholic iced tea, perfect for any occasion. There is also draught beer available.

Jacqueline’s offers a variety of over 50 loose leaf teas and 3 different teas freshly brewed for sampling every day.

Jacqueline’s offers a monthly subscription to its own tea club from just £10 per month, teas are sent based on season, freshness and flavour and on a 3, 6 or 12-month membership.

The Business also offer a loyalty card scheme in the form of a 1940’s ration card.

All teas are branded as Jacqueline’s and can be purchased to take home along with accessories such as teapots, strainers, infusers and timers.

There are currently quarterly tea and wine tasting sessions that are held in the evening between 7pm and 10pm as the full alcohol licence permits the serving of alcohol until that time.

The first floor has been hired out for parties and weddings. Jacqueline’s prides itself in offering gluten free products and being supported by the Celiac Society.

Jacqueline’s purchases its tea through the sister company Constable Tea. Constable Tea has agreed to pass on and honour the reasonable rates currently charged to Jacqueline’s to continue ongoing business.

The business is being sold with the website,

www.jacquelinestearoom.co.uk

There are Facebook and Twitter pages and Jacqueline’s enjoys 4.5* reviews on TripAdvisor and 100% rating on Groupon.

Jaqueline’s is a profit-making business, however, there is scope for development by,

1. Holding more open event evenings. We have been informed that there is no restriction on the Lease regarding this.

2. Promote the use of the first-floor area for events such as hen parties, weddings, christenings

Hilton Smythe highly advise early viewing to avoid disappointment.
