Business Description
Business
Hilton Smythe are pleased to offer for sale Madina General Stores. The current owner has had the business since 1979 and is now looking to retire and spend more time with his family, hence the reason it is coming onto the market.

The business is a general convenience store and a Halal butchery. It stocks fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as dairy. Additionally, it serves specialist foods, along with confectionary and snacks. Madina also stocks general groceries and frozen foods as well as household items.

The butchery is at the back of the store and serves fresh Halal meat.

St Albans is a city in Hertfordshire, England. It lies east of Hemel Hempstead and west of Hatfield, about 20 miles north-northwest of central London, 8 miles southwest of Welwyn Garden City and 11 miles south-southeast of Luton.

Two railway stations serve the city; St Albans City station, which is situated 0.5 miles east of the city centre, and St Albans Abbey station, which is situated approximately 0.7 miles south-west of the city station. St Albans City station is served by Thameslink on a frequent and fast rail link through central London.

Suburban services stop at all stations on the route, while express services are non-stop to London St Pancras International (St Albans City station to St Pancras International – 18 minutes).
