Covid 19

The COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease) pandemic has placed more than a quarter of the world’s population under lockdown. This has resulted in increased demand for online streaming and entertainment services. The video streaming services have experienced a rise of around 10% in viewership during the lockdown. Major platforms, including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, and Disney+ have registered a spike in viewership worldwide. For instance, in March 2020, Netflix registered an increase of more than 50% in the number of first-time installations of its mobile application in Italy and more than 30% of that in Spain.

A Film or TV investment offers generous returns, the benefits stretch beyond just the sales of box office tickets; DVD sales, television airings and the sale of merchandise all count towards the profit a film makes and can continue to generate a profit for many years after the production was released.

The UK film industry is a thriving business with an impressive history; despite the financial crisis the film industry remains strong and continues to make money, while many other industries struggle. Investing in film is a great way to see good returns.
