Location
St. Michaels Fish Bar is located in Rugeley.
Rugeley is a historic market town in the county of Staffordshire. It lies on the north-eastern edge of Cannock Chase next to the River Trent and is situated between the towns of Stafford, Cannock, Lichfield and Uttoxeter. At the 2001 census the towns population was 22,724 increasing to 24,033 at the 2011 census.

Following many years of regeneration, several large industrial units have been built on the Towers Business Park, a brownfield site situated on the former ground of the Lea Hall Colliery. Amazon opened a 700,000 sq. ft fulfilment Centre creating between 700 and 900 full-time jobs as well as generating a large pool of seasonal work around Christmas. A new self sustaining village of a further 2000+ houses with amenities and sporting facilities as well as two new schools, a park and a Silicon Valley style business park have been proposed.

The major roads into Rugeley are the A460 from Cannock, and the A51 Lichfield to Stone. A new eastern bypass was opened in 2007 to facilitate the development of new employment areas on the former colliery site and to reduce congestion in the town centre.

St. Michaels Fish Bar is ideally positioned in a small but unusually busy and vibrant shopping arcade in the middle of a large residential housing estate. The business sits alongside other complimentary retail businesses such as a convenience store and thus benefits from high levels of footfall and passing trade along with regular custom
