St Michaels is set in a relatively quiet location but within a few minutes walk of the High Street, seafront, pier, local amenities and transport links. Sandown is a popular tourist destination with its sandy beaches, lively seafront with pier and tourist attractions including the popular zoo and Dinosaur Isle.
St Michaels guest house trades out of 12 letting room mainly between Easter and the end of September but also opens at other times to cater for contractors working on the Island. There is scope to extend the trading season.
Currently St Michaels caters for both private guests and school parties ( 7 booked for the present year). Private guests are offered an evening meal if required while the school parties are catered for on a half board basis with a packed lunch being provided.
