The guest house offers 5 large, warm and comfortable en-suite bedrooms, conservatory and lounge in which to relax. There are also two private rooms at the top of the guest house. The front door is situated on the main street with easy access to the village and with a general shop nearby. The downstairs hall (on the ground floor) leads through to the conservatory and garden area with private car park for 5 cars. There is also a small garden shed and conservatory. The first floor hall leads to the stairs and the reception area and the first and second floors. Binrnam and Dunkeld offers some of the most amazing wildlife viewing in Scotland, thanks to its wonderful location on the River Tay and surrounding woodlands and moorlands. Facing onto Birnam Hill (famous for Shakespeare’s Macbeth) Birnam Guest House has an enviable central location in Birnam village, situated opposite the Birnam Arts centre and Beartrix Potter gardens within the historic and immaculately preserved village of Birnam. The Hermitage owned by the National Trust for Scotland has 70,000 visitors per annum and is famous for its wonderful waterfalls. The Loch of the Lowes nature reserve is only 3 miles away, home to ospreys, and other wildlife. There are also numerous weddings at the nearby Dunkeld Cathedral and Birnam Hotel and Hilton on the River Tay.
