THE BUSINESS ITSELF Most of the holiday homes are let between thirty and thirty five weeks a year. The vendors do not open over Christmas and New Year and rarely trade before Easter so there is much scope to increase revenue. Turnover for 2016 was in excess of £165,000.00 with a good G.P. which in our opinion a new owner could increase considerably by extending the season for which there is proven demand. No agencies are used to secure bookings due to the large amount of return business and very little marketing is undertaken. Again, there is a lot of potential to increase trade as there is much demand nationwide for holiday accommodation of this nature.
