The elegant Edwardian residence is located in one of the prime upmarket roads in the town set only approx.150m walk to the beach and promenade and offering stunning sea views from many of the rooms. In addition it is only a 5min walk to the main high street.
Currently set over 3 floors with 9 en-suite letting rooms all of which are very spacious with some being able to be considered as suites given the size and additional seating areas provided. Each is individual but with similar themes being carried on throughout the building, it is very much a unique and characterful place to stay. The rooms are fitted out to the highest of standards with lots of lovely touches which enhance the feel of being in a quality establishment. The dining room can seat approx. 30 covers and there is a relaxed seating area in the main hall which has the reception office off.
There is a large kitchen in which the guests breakfasts are prepared and which could easily accommodate an evening service as well. Despite being the commercial kitchen it is very tastefully fitted out and would not be out of place in a residential property.
The private accommodation has it’s own well fitted kitchen for the use of the owner together with lounge, bedroom, bathroom and storage areas, again all finished to a high standard. There is also a further reception room which the owner uses as a studio. There is an additional apartment used by the owners relative which provides a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and large lounge. This is accessed off of the main hall and so could easily be converted into 2 further letting rooms.
Externally there is a delightful garden for the use of guests and parking for approx. 10 cars. There is however unrestricted on road parking and a car park a minutes walk away. To the rear is a private garden area for the owners use together with storage sheds. It is also noted that there is the possibility of development potential which may be of interest to some parties.
Due to the nature of the business there are no opening hours as such. It should be noted though that the business closes for 6 weeks of the year.
