Talybont is a village north of the town of Barmouth in North West Wales, located on the A496 Dolgellau to Porthmadog coast road, which serves this section of the Cambrian coastline. It is complemented by the Cambrian Railway Line which makes connections between Pwllheli, Aberystwyth, Shrewsbury and onwards to Birmingham. Talybont railway station is approx 400yds from the property entrance. The village has a public house, a restaurant, a hairdressers and the area is also a very popular holiday destination. The resort town of Barmouth is some 4miles to the south and the historic town of Harlech is a similar distance to the north.
