Cove Marina is a well-maintained family run marina offering secluded moorings in a rural setting on a quiet part of the River Yare. It is situated in the southern section of the picturesque Norfolk Broads. The site was acquired in 1989 and has been operated by the current owner since 1997. In 2006 it was expanded with the acquisition of the adjoining boatyard, when 22 general moorings were created together with two private moorings.
The marina comprises two basins containing 75 moorings which can accommodate craft ranging in length from 18’ to 45’. In addition there are two private moorings, each with its own private garden and summer house. All of the berths benefit from 16A mains electricity and a water point. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the marina. There are two WC/shower blocks. The main WC/shower block adjoins the site office and has a footprint extending to approximately 26.68 sq m (287.18 sq ft). The second WC/shower block is located next to the two private moorings and has a footprint extending to approximately 9.56 sq m (102.9 sq ft). Externally the grounds are landscaped and include communal picnic areas with benches, two timber storage sheds and a large gravel car park.
Additional services provided by the marina include a crane out facility for winter storage, pressure washing, anti-fouling, pump out facilities and diesel and Calor gas sales.
Access to the site is gained from Riverside Estate via a private driveway which forms part of the property. The Brundall Riverside Association maintains all roads on the Riverside Estate with all boat yards and chalets paying an annual subscription to cover the maintenance cost of roads and the security barrier.
Cove Marina is situated on the River Yare in the Norfolk Broads, at the busy boating centre of Brundall, which lies to the south of the A47 Norwich/Great Yarmouth trunk road. Brundall has a population of about 4,019 (2011 Census) and benefits from a number of amenities including shops, schools, pubs and restaurants.
