For Sale is Ohyo Ltd, a popular eco business featured on Dragons' Den 2010. Vendor is now Director at another business and seeks buyer to re-launch this UK-made bottle business.
Bizdaq is pleased to offer to the market a highly recognised and friendly upmarket brand developing and promoting adaptable products that grow with your day. Ohyo (www.ohyo.me) provides smart solutions to everyday problems while offering sustainable alternatives to plastic bottles and bags.
Turnover and profit figures displayed above are 8-year averages. Ohyo Ltd (Bottle) has been trading since 2010 selling 700,000 bottles to date. Our profitable turnover rose steadily peaking at £320,000 for 2013/14 with sales to Marks & Spencer, Blacks, Millets, Robert Dyas. However, sales dipped following a disappointing “Transformer; Age of Extinction” collaboration with Paramount Film and Boots Plc, which in conjunction with an attempt to launch a US subsidiary and tooling expenses for the Ohyo 1000ml, generated a loss in 2014/15. Ohyo now operates profitably albeit with a reduced annual turnover since the departure of Guy Jeremiah as active CEO in 2016. Guy now offers Ohyo just 3.5 hours per week, and could continue to do so after any sale if requested. Kathryn Williams is employed part time as Exports and Logistics Manager, directing production in Sheffield, client management and customer services.
Ohyo Ltd would benefit massively from renewed marketing, which the current owner can no longer offer since becoming Regional Director of Environmental Management at Waterman Group. Guy founded Greenspace (www.legalregister.co.uk) and sold that business to Waterman in 2005 and has re-energised it over the past 3 years at the expense of Ohyo Ltd.
The Ohyo business is now on the market to find owners able to re-launch it in the midst of the current renewed interest and market for Environmentally Sustainable products.
