We are offering this profitable online flooring business for sale. Online retail is fast developing and growing every year and our business has grown since we began in March 2014. This business has the potential to increase its revenue and grow with the online retail revolution. The business is operated using the cost effective drop-ship model, so it has no expensive overheads. Its UK based suppliers hold the products and ship out the orders to customers. The business has grown from 1 ebay shop to 4 and has 3 online websites.
The business operates using the 'drop ship' model, so there is no stock outlay or warehouse and staff costs. There is one central office where all the management of the busness takes place including the sales and dispatch of samples. All current agreements and exclusive rights with current suppliers will remain and be handed over to the new owners.
The operation:
There is a central office based in Luton and virtual offices based in Central London, Milton Keynes and Birmingham. As the business is solely online the central office can be re-located anywhere. There is the option not to have a central office because the business can be run mobile/remotely anywhere in the world. All that is needed is an internet and phone connection. There are currently 3 partners who split the working week into 2 days each per week, but this operation can be easily run by 1 person.
The business hours are; 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday and 10am - 4pm on Saturdays.
Sales; customers view products online and mainly request samples which are dispatched and received within 2/3 working days. Customers who wish to order then contact either ebay, direct email or phone. The phone is the main sales avenue. There are around 15/20% of customers who order direct without ordering samples. Samples of products are provided by the suppliers free of charge. Customers are charged for the samples. Sample prices vary from the online platforms being used. All sales, invoices and additional info are documented electronically. The majority of the customer base are end users, but there is a growing list of regular trade customers; architects, interior designers, builders, and general trades people.
The reason for the sale is that all 3 partners have other business interests they wish to develop and no longer have the time to commit to this operation.

Gross is 20% can be slightly more
Net is 15% and above
Our Turnover between January 2017 to December 2017 was over £600,000
The Monthly outgoing is between £1500 - £1800 (depending on online marketing campaigns)
