We are selling our thriving and established mobile catering business. The business operates from a professionally converted Mercedes Sprinter which houses an 18 month old Dragon pizza oven. The van is regularly serviced and has had 3 new tyres fitted in the past year. Van will come with a new MOT from March. The van is currently stored at a secure self storage yard which is pre paid until October 2021, should you wish to keep the van there.
The business was established in 2016 and comes with 5 regular weekly pitches in the local area serving pizzas from 5:30pm to 8pm, with the potential to add additional days on existing sites, and greatly increase turnover and net profits if required. We have built a vast amount of local business contacts for future events, our local food supplier and agreed a discount with our wood supplier. We will provide full training if required as part of the sale.
We operate with 2 to 4 staff each night, depending on how busy we are. We currently have 3 casual members of staff who are happy to continue working with the new owner.
Profit margins are exceptional in the pizza world allowing gross profits of up to 80%. There is no license required to operate at these sites. The running costs are relatively low as there are no business rates to pay. The on going costs are insurance, vehicle maintenance, fuel and any staff wages.
The vast majority of our income in this tax year has been from our regular pitches and not from one off events. We are fully covid secure and have been able to operate throughout the entire pandemic. We also cater for weddings, parties and any other events as required. The events booked for 2020 have either moved to 2021 or 2022.
The business sale includes popular Facebook and Instagram pages with a large following. The sale will include everything which you need to operate including but not limited to: 2 fridges in the van, a large American style fridge freezer, a chest freezer, undercounter fridge, electric dough rolling machine, petrol generator, electric wood splitter, staff uniform/aprons, all cooking utensils/pizza peel, 3 x 4 metre professional catering gazebo, outside tables and custom made tablecloths.
