Based in Surrey, Heathrow Villager was launched 34 years ago and is the only independent publication distributed in and around Heathrow Airport. A past recipient of the British Airways Community Champion Award, the paper is distributed free around the airport and in staff canteens and offices.
The paper combines editorial and advertisements, including several pages of job adverts. Local sport is featured on the back page and there are also readers’ letters and motoring sections.
Printed in Peterborough and distributed every fortnight, the paper’s circulation ranges from 33,000 to 42,000. There is considerable potential for growth following Government approval of the £14 billion third runway at Heathrow Airport, which could be completed by 2026.
