Business Description
Business
Hilton Smythe welcomes to the market, Rugby Tap.

Rugby Tap was founded by the current owner as a bottle shop six and a half years ago, the pub side of the business was founded approximately 4 years ago.

The owner spent many years in the hospitality industry prior to founding Rugby Tap and the business has been a real labour of love for him. Alas the time has come to sell this lovely little business, albeit reluctantly and with a heavy heart only due to a change in direction. The owner is keen to see his beloved business pass to an ambitious and entrepreneurial new owner who can take it to the next level.

Rugby Tap is a specialist bottle shop currently selling:

• A large range of locally brewed Ales
• Local and national Ciders
• UK 'craft beer', Belgium, Germany and USA specialist beers
• Craft Gin focusing on local
• Mead, Whiskies, Wines
• Draught Keg take-out growlers

The bottles can be ordered and delivered or collected in-store or via the businesses e-commerce direct sales channel. website (rugbytap.co.uk) included.

Over the last six plus years Rugby Tap has gained an enviable reputation locally as a seller of quality Artisan drinks whether via a gift box, Draught Ale and Cider into refillable growlers or our ever popular 5/10/20 LT party boxes.

The appreciation for and the quality and diversity of product available to an independent beer seller has never been greater and most believe the growth still has a long way to go.

The business growing into the micro pub side has allowed for a larger range of fast selling barrels to be sold in what has been described as 'a relaxed beer festival, every week'.

Rugby Tap Room has no bar, just a range of barrels, comfortable seating and the best of service.

The Tap Room offers an environment that shuns electronic entertainment, promoting conversation in an intimate setting. Acoustic music has become a regular feature on Thursday evenings.
100% wet led and free customer Wi-Fi.

The business enjoys fantastic visibility on the internet with its own Facebook and Twitter pages and brilliant reviews from the likes of Trip Advisor and whatpub.com. Also included is a large customer database and a Loyalty card member scheme. Awards include: Good Beer Guide listing 2015-2016-2017-2018-2019 Rugby and district Camra Pub of the Year 2015, 2016.
