The present owners bought Ben More Lodge Hotel in 2010 and it has offered them a rewarding lifestyle to date. It is their desire to relocate closer to family and reduce business interests that brings this property to the market.

Situated within spacious grounds overlooking rolling hills to the south, access is via two tarmac roads leading to an open plan site. The original aspects of the business date back to the 1950’s while the chalets were built in the 1980s. The letting accommodation has recently been refurbished throughout to bring it up to an exceptional standard. The main building is of traditional stone construction presenting an attractive detached property under a combination of corrugated tin and corrugated onduline roof with guest seating area to the rear. There are three static caravans to the side of the property which are currently used as staff and owner’s accommodation. There is a separate timber lodge within the grounds which was previously used as an additional guest room housing three bunkbeds along with en-suite facilities. This has been converted into a lounge area for the owners and could be used for either purpose depending on the new owners’ desires.

The main building houses the bar and restaurant where guests check-in on arrival. Access is gained via the front door with disability access that leads into a hallway and thereafter to the bar and lounge area. These areas can seat around 20 people. The bar is of timber finish with traditional tartan decorations with four under counter storage fridges, eight taps and a coffee machine. The bar also benefits from a homely stone feature fire place providing a welcoming atmosphere to customers on arrival.

From the bar access is gained into the restaurant area through glass doors which has the facilities to cater for 42 covers with potential to increase subject to new owners requirements. The restaurant has also been recently redecorated providing a fresh feel while still maintaining the traditional Scottish ambience. The lay out of this area could also be used for functions should the new owners wish to venture down this avenue to increase turnover.

To the side of the bar is the pool / games room which leads onto the guest patio area to the rear of the property via glass patio doors. The pool room provides access to the male bathrooms with female bathrooms located off the bar area.
