The boutique currently runs on an appointment only basis which is beneficial to my lifestyle. It is closed Sunday and Monday, this is an opportunity for the new owner to extend hours, attracting more brides who are unable to make Saturday appointments.

The turnover is consistently increasing year on year with profits raising at a good rate too. With a fantastic reputation and excellent feedback scores, word of mouth over the years has helped to build the business. As well as this, the shop has proven that with a first or second place on google search, the shop thrives with new custom. The nature of the business requires a consistent social media presence, with a lot of new brides finding us on Instagram and Facebook. I haven't attended wedding fayres for a few years, mainly due to family commitments but this could be a possibility for the new owner to engage with new brides.
One of the USP's of the boutique is that the brides appointment is exclusive to her. The shop door is closed and brides and their party are able to enjoy privacy and a relaxing experience with the shop all to themselves. I am extremely proud of this and brides absolutely love it. They have the assistants undivided attention and are able to enjoy trying on dresses without any body else watching or seeing any body else in dresses they are trying on. The feedback from nearly every appointment is that this is a thoroughly enjoyable experience for all involved. It does bring girls back to buy their dresses after poor experiences elsewhere. Even brides who don't purchase their dress from us still highly recommend us to their friends.

I have an amazing seamstress who dedicates one day a week at the shop to accommodate fittings, it proves to be a very welcomed service that is offered with nearly every bride coming back for their fittings with us.

I have ran the business independently for over 5 years but now have 2 members of staff working for me as I am unable to be at the shop.

The shop currently has two strong designers selling well but I have also just secured two new designer labels that will be arriving over the next few months. I anticipate the new designers will be an excellent addition to the business and expect to see sales soar when they arrive. I was very excited when I was able to secure these designers and can't wait for the new dresses to arrive. The labels are very well known and I expect their names will bring new brides to the shop.

The new owners will need a period of handover time which I am more than willing to do, time scale will be negotiated dependent on whether new owner has experience etc.
There are a number of areas that the new owner can improve on to increase sales even more, this is a fantastic business and can be so much more than it is a with a new owner having a passion and drive to improve it even further.
