IBA have been engaged to take to market a very well-established, cash-generative, highly-profitable (42% net pre-tax) scaffolding services provider to clients across the UK with a particular focus on Staffordshire and Cheshire.

Founded as a family business in 1994, our client’s last reported turnover was £228,300 with a profit for the year of £79,885 – a net margin of 35%.

The company can be bought with its current staff or, for a trade buyer, you will be able to bring in your own staff and sub-contractors to fulfil contracts as you require. The company has just come to market (June 2018) and we have fielded a number of enquiries from buyers interested in the company’s order book (currently to capacity) and manpower flexibility.

During its last reported full trading year, the company achieved an average monthly turnover of £19,000. This represented a 36% jump in year-on-year turnover.

SMOOTH HANDOVER PROCESS

The processes involved in running this business has been greatly simplified and streamlined over recent years. The current MD is very happy to work on a hand-over basis with the new owner and the existing staff are happy to work for the new owner

The remaining members of the family who are active in the business will make their services and employment available to a new owner if desired. When the MD is absent or on holiday, another member of the family assumes the leadership role including delegation of duties. He is happy to stay on for the new owner in this role should this be required.
