The main house (see House and Loch Etive View document for more pictures) is built 50m from the shores of Loch Etive,10 miles inland from Connel and 10 miles from the head of the loch in Glencoe. This family house comprises of three bedrooms on the ground floor one of them en-suite. A large utility room at the rear of the property leads into the large kitchen/dining area and adjoining lounge. The large windows to the front of the lounge provide a spectacular view over Loch Etive to Ben Duirinnis and the towering Ben Cruachan. There is a open fire for those cold winter evenings.
There is a inner doorway in the hall which leads to the upper apartment which can be locked to prevent upstairs guests from accessing the main house. The upstairs apartment Loch Etive View could easily be re-incorporated into the owners accommodation to make a large six bedroomed house if required.
The stairway to the upstairs can be accessed from the door to the front of the house or from inside the main house and the upper floor has two large bedrooms ,bathroom with shower and a kitchen living area. At present this upper floor is used as a self catering apartment but could easily be converted back to be part of the main house and thus you have a 5 bedroomed house with upper and lower lounge.
This croft boasts two small fields totaling 2.5 acres . There is a hay shed /stable and many other associated sheds suitable for car parking and log storage.
The location ,Airds Bay, Taynuilt offers unbelievable views and scenery and the closeness to the Sea Loch (Loch Etive) offers another opportunity for guests and owner alike.
