This Bronze Pig was established in 2015 by our client and has since continued to bring success to the business.

The business now comes to the open market due to our client’s desire to retire.

The name ‘The Bronze Pig’ unites 3 simple facts:

• Pompeo’s Italian national origins who although being Sicilian took inspiration from the bronze fountain of boar in the Mercato Nuovo in Florence.
• The celebration of a long-standing friendship with a loyal friend who has a profound love of pigs and boars of all shapes and sizes.
• The fact that the restaurant is based in Lincoln and commemorates the Votive Bronze Boar miniature statuette from the late 1st century AD housed at the Collection in the Art and Archaeology Museum in Lincoln.

A well known Michelin Guide restaurant serving contemporary English cuisine, with an influence of many international cuisines, using fresh locally sourced produce and top quality wines, seating 14 guests in each dining room.

Their meats and vegetables are sourced locally, the fish comes from renewable sources and from the British shores whenever feasible. Their choice of wines are based on the recommendation of a sommelier to offer choices from the old world and a couple from the new world that would further enhance their delicious dishes.

The menu there is influenced by the traditional Mediterranean and international cuisine, with a strong focus on sustainability. The restaurant proudly uses UK produce wherever possible, including fresh fish from British shores.

As well as trading as a successful restaurant they have  a 2 bedroom house and a 4 room hotel within the building.

Following a year of successful trading and fantastic reviews, they made the decision to move to a larger premises, The Bronze Pig then opened it’s doors in February 2015 on Burton Road in the shadows of Lincoln Castle.

The business is situated in the cathedral quarter of the Historic Lincoln with both the cathedral and the castle being only a stone throw away, and we are also advised there are 4 car parks near-by the closest being 40 metres away and the furthest being 100 meters away.
