"I joined Gymophobics in 2008 as a member as I didn’t want to be fat and 40. I lost 5 stone and it changed my life and I am so passionate about the Gymophobics ethos that I want to share, help and support other women that want to change their lives too. 

I was lucky enough to buy the Gym in December 2018 and our member base increased. I continue to offer the ladies a wide range of support both mentally and physically which became so important to them especially during 2020.  The relationships I have developed with my staff and members have been paramount in the success and so important especially during the Covid year.

Being a Franchisee has allowed me to really develop the power of the Gymophobics Family and knowing that our members also consider us as their family is very humbling indeed.  We see on a daily basis how the time and effort given to each member can be life changing for them – and that has to be one of the most rewarding things about this Job.

I joined Gymophobics because I hated Gyms and hated how they made me feel and I carry that memory with me every day – when a lady comes to us feeling that scared with no self-confidence or self esteem, it is without doubt one of the most heart-warming things to have them leave smiling and confident and looking forward to starting their new challenge with us.

Gymophobics is a journey regardless of your role, whether it be Franchisee, Instructor or member you become a part of something very special where you can change others' lives for the better.
