Recognition for PACK & SEND

As PACK & SEND is recognised as a full member of the British Franchise Association (bfa), the logistics franchise is also welcoming their latest franchisee to the network and celebrating impressive franchisee satisfaction survey results. Mark Perl isn’t the first to recognise the commercial potential as he takes over the reins of the previously company-owned service centre in Harrow, as PACK & SEND’s latest franchisee to join the network.

As part of the assessment a franchise brand must complete before becoming a full member of the bfa, the franchise network must respond to an independent franchisee satisfaction benchmark survey conducted by WorkBuzz. PACK & SEND’s overall score of 81% places them within the higher ranking franchises in the UK.   

“We’re proud to be upgraded to full members of the bfa,” said UK CEO Mike Ryan. “It’s been in progress for a while, and we’re excited to have this highest accreditation for PACK & SEND. It’s also really great to receive feedback from our franchisees who have continued to respond so well to deliver their essential service over the last year. In fact, we ended our financial year with combined network sales up by 30% and a 53% increase in enquiries - it’s a very proud moment indeed.”

In the franchise’s first-ever WorkBuzz survey, 100% of the network’s franchisees offered their valuable opinion on every aspect of the franchise opportunity, including training, support and the overall culture. A few of the most notable elements include the system and leadership, scoring 93% and 90% respectively, alongside 100% of respondents agreeing they were satisfied with initial training and support provided.

The franchise system and the continued support from the head office team has certainly proved itself during one of the most challenging economic landscapes in decades. The first two franchisees to test the new marketing and lead guarantee have both delivered record growth at new franchise locations in Glasgow and Birmingham. Whilst both locations benefitted from PACK & SEND matching their marketing spend within the first year, it was the guaranteed number of leads that helped propel their service centre’s success – the initial promise was to deliver these within 12 months, but both sites received them in half the time.

As the most recent franchisee to join the network, Mark Perl not only recognised the business potential, but he also first discovered PACK & SEND as a customer. “I needed a solution for packaging two expensive pieces of art. I had contacted several shipping companies but they all said I’d have to package them myself. So, I visited the PACK & SEND service centre in Harrow as a customer and, apart from supplying me with a solution to my problem, I couldn’t believe how busy the service centre was and the sheer volume of projects they had waiting to be shipped. I’d recently been made redundant from Heathrow Airport and this was a company-owned service centre which they were willing to offer to a franchisee. I’m looking forward to providing the same great customer service.”
