We import and sell classic and vintage motorcycles and are the foremost dealer in Australia in this market. We operate out of two adjacent warehouses that we own the freeholds of and these will be offered on leases or the freeholds can be purchased, so all options are available to interested parties. This is an ideal opportunity as a path for migration to Australia as purchasing a business here would make anyone eligible under the business migration scheme.
Our main warehouse is set up as our motorcycle sales shop which incorporates our workshop and a huge holding of spare parts.
The second warehouse next door is partly used for storage of motorcycles and also as our biosecurity quarantine area. We import motorcycles from the USA and the UK and all shipments have to be inspected and cleared by quarantine. We are a biosecurity approved site, and so our shipments can be unpacked, inspected and cleared at our premises.
We also rent and share a warehouse in Ventura, California, USA where we store and ship our motorcycles from. We have pickers in the USA who find our motorcycles for us which has been a very successful arrangement for many years and would continue unchanged for any prospective buyer if they so wish.
In the UK we have an agent who stores and ships our motorcycles from there, this has been a very good arrangement for us and would continue unchanged if required.
I have been involved with motorcycles for most of my life, having had a dealership in the UK many years ago and a successful motorcycle racing career and then our current business Classic Style Motorcycles in Melbourne for the past 28 years.
I am offering the business at a very fair price, which includes everything, a huge stock of motorcycles, a vast stock of spare parts and all fixtures and fittings. The value of the stock is more than I am asking for the deal, I am really asking nothing for the actual business. I have made my living from this over the years and wish to pass it on as a going concern at an extremely fair price.
