Services offered

Our client transports various types of containers, including High Cube, Reefer, Pallet Wide, Open Top, Flat Rack and standard dry containers (20DV and 40DV). Each type of container is designed for specific cargo needs, ensuring efficient and safe transportation of goods.

The following delivery services are offered:

• Wait and Load: This service involves the container staying with the vehicle while it’s loaded or unloaded, allowing for immediate return.

• Drop and Collect: With this service, the container is left at the site for a period then collected when loading or unloading is complete.

• Kerbside Delivery: The container is unloaded at the side of the road next to the delivery address.

• Splitter Deliveries: This service involves handling multiple delivery points from a single container, optimising route planning to ensuring on-time.

• General Trailer Work: Our clients also undertakes general trailer work although this accounts for a very small percentage of revenues.

Our client’s fleet includes 18 Volvo FH4 tractors units, 4 splitter trailers and 10 slider trailers.

Financial performance

In its five years of trading, our client has demonstrated impressive growth and profitability. Turnover grew 36.5% between 2020 and 2022 to reach nearly £3 million with a compound annual growth rate of 16.83%. Around 40% of clients are factored while the internal credit control person manages the rest.

Staffing
