Swan Corporate is pleased to take to market a bespoke provider of in-home domiciliary care to high-net-worth individual.
Established in 2005, the core management team of four and over 30 trained, professional care staff to provide either 24/7 or overnight care to between 10 and 15 clients at most time. Despite offering some of the best pay rates on the sector, the company has maintained a 32-35% gross margin on revenue. Adjusted EBITDA over the past 3 years has averaged 28%.
Wealthy individuals are willing to spend money to receive the best – the elderly wealthy are no different. We can see this with the mushrooming in luxury nursing and residential accommodation over the past 10 years. For individuals wanting to stay in their own homes and benefit from the maximum possible care, our client provides this.
This is not a price-sensitive market however, to build a client base, a reputation for quality care is essential. This is what a new owner would be purchasing together with a growing, highly profitable business with great cash flow. You are also purchasing a replicable formula which can be rolled out across wealthier areas of the UK (like London, Cheshire and Edinburgh) and across Europe.
Services provided
Our client provides domiciliary care to high net worth individuals in their home. Support provided ranges from 7 hours a week to 7 nights a week to 24/7 attention to our client’s carers. Services provided by carers include but is not limited to:
• Mobility support
• Medication prompting and delivery
• Meal preparation
• Assistance with personal hygiene
• Help getting dressed
• Help leaving the home
• Household cleaning
• Running errands
• Emergency response
• General companionship
Specialist care is available for clients living with illnesses like Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and multiple sclerosis.
The company’s strapline is “Quality in care”. It has built a reputation for delivering on that promise with fully qualified, experienced, caring nursing staff. The company intentionally seeks out customers who can afford higher quality support because it’s easier and more profitable to supply this standard of card to smaller numbers.
Sales and marketing
On an appointment with a potential client, the MD quickly identifies the types of care a person needs. People want to feel understood particularly if vulnerable and they want help maintaining as much of their independence as possible. The demographic can afford to pay and demands outstanding service. This method has been passed on successfully to other members of our client’s team and it will be passed onto a new owner.
Professional, qualified caring staff
Prior to being placed at a client’s home, all staff must have up-to-date qualifications. Newly qualified staff are accompanied on their shifts by experienced members of staff until an experienced member of staff signs them off as being able to work alone. Staff look professional and are fully uniformed on shift.
